"After recurring neck pain, a friend of my recommended that I see her massage therapist, Staci Groves. This was my first exposure with massage therapy and since it was such a great experience, I have continued to see Staci to manage my neck pain. I have since be diagnosed with degenerative disc disorder and massage therapy helps manage my pain. After the first session, I was somewhat relieved from immediate pain, but the best results came a day later when I realized I had more mobility and was able to turn my head to back my car out of the driveway. Why live in pain, when routine message can prevent the discomfort associated with degenerative discs problems? The office is always accommodating and scheduling has never been a problem. I always look forward to my session and appreciate Staci's caring and concern. I honestly think that she feels my pain and does whatever she can to help." -Arlene M. |
"Regular massage with Sarah Cunio has kept my chronic lower back stiffness under control. Sarah asks questions, listens carefully, and addresses whatever other problems need to be addressed, as well. I look forward to my monthly massage and would not want to do without it! (The office setting is peaceful and relaxing, too." -Linda, West Bath |
"I look forward to my massages with Sarah, she always does a fantastic joband I feel great afterward. She is warm, caring and truly loves what shedoes and that comes across in her sessions. I'm a massage therapist myselfand recommend people to her. I also like to pick her brain and she's very helpful with her knowledge." - Anonymous |
"I have spent a lifetime being physically active, not only in athletic pursuits, but also on the job, doing snow removal, painting, cleaning out houses, moving 4 times, gardening, tree trimming and pruning, car care, chasing children and grandchildren and instructing YMCA fitness and aquatics. As a result I have a few physical "issues." Add to this several periods of great stress in my life. Put it all together and Sarah Cunio's massages address the effects of everything combined better than anyone or anything else." -Sherry, age 64 |
Staci gave me a massage two or three days after I broke my collar bone. She got the muscles to relax around the snapped clavicle. The relaxed muscles stopped pulling on the ends of the bones and the pain lessened without medication. I was very happy to stop taking so many pain meds and sleep peacefully. My recovery was much faster and pleasant. -Georgette |
I was fortunate that my wife recommended Staci to me and thus began a long run of monthly appointments. I brought the perhaps usual complaints of an older, thin person with arthritis in various places: the frozen shoulders, tendonitis in arms and hands and the additional concerns of a type 1 diabetic of very long duration: circulation problems and neoropathy problems. Staci has demonstrated excellent skill and consistent concern for all those issues and taken great care to pay attention to each of their requirements. So all of that and I feel that I made a good friend in the bargain a very satisfied patient who always looks forward to the next visit. -James |
I first came for massage to deal with chronic neck and back pain and stiffness. After my first massage, my body felt for the first time, what relaxed muscles feel like. Sarah is a genius at working not only chronic problem areas but acute issues that somehow creep up on me. I've been getting monthly massages with Sarah, and when I miss a session, I am "painfully" aware that my body is out of synch! -Anonymous |
A testimonial to Sarah's professionalism, knowledge and personality? That's easy. Not only do I return regularly, but gave gift certificates to friends, and now they're hooked. -SWT |
For my second pregnancy, I decided to see Sarah for prenatal massages. The massages alleviated the pregnancy aches and pains and they helped reduce my stress level. I believe the pregnancy was much smoother as a result of the prenatal massages. -Brenna |
I first came to see Staci after experiencing post heart surgery discomfort in my chest and tightness in both upper and lower back with associated pain. The first session and successive treatments have provided considerable relief, so much so that I continue to have monthly treatments and have been doing so for 3 years. I continue to have considerable relief for both my initial complaint and additional complaints that have manifested themselves with the passage of time. It has helped improve the quality of my life immeasurably. My plan is to continue with this therapy for an indefinite period. -Fred |
